Known for their sharp eye and slightly offbeat sensibility, French Press Films brings cinematic polish and unexpected perspective to every frame. We set out to create an identity that felt as confident and distinctive as their work—balancing refinement with just the right amount of edge. Inspired by both their creative process and the mechanics of a French press, we designed a tilted wordmark that feels dynamic and unconventional. The minimal color palette—black, white, and cobalt blue—draws from the cool tones of cinematic lighting, while giving the brand a crisp, editorial feel across formats.
We extended the identity across a full suite of collateral—business cards, letterhead, invoices, folders, and envelopes—leaning into a bold yet minimal aesthetic. The angled logo adds movement and intrigue, feeling perfectly placed yet ready to push beyond the frame. Cobalt blue accents punctuate the otherwise black-and-white system, used sparingly for maximum impact.
Beyond the essentials, we designed on-set ID tags, signage, and branded team gear—including crew shirts and custom director’s chairs for their office. Some pieces serve a practical purpose, while others were purely for fun.
For their website, the work had to be the focal point. We designed a sleek, video-forward experience with immersive full-screen takeovers and a clean, gallery-style layout that lets each project stand out. The site was built for performance—mobile-friendly, fast-loading, and optimized for seamless playback and strong SEO.
